The Birth Of NFT Garage 🎊
Since early 2021, Fantom has seen a vast inflow of capital — most of which is directed towards the state-of-the-art DeFi Protocols on the network. But since mid 2021, we have also seen a considerable amount of capital flow into NFTs.
Fantom is the home for some of the best DeFi Protocols, developers, artists and most important of all — the communities! Over the last couple of months as the TVL on Fantom has exploded it has given rise to more and more projects, artists and developers choosing Fantom as their home.
However, one important question that we feel has been unanswered to date is “How to bridge the gap between DeFi & NFTs?”
Both DeFi & NFTs have their own benefits and currently we believe there is a segregation between these 2 communities in Fantom(as in most other chains). We believe that the true power of the network is yet to come out and we can see this power being unleashed when we bridge the gap between DeFi Protocols & NFTs!
This gave birth to the idea of NFT Garage.
What Is NFT Garage? 🔭
At NFT Garage we believe that the gap between DeFi & NFTs needs to be bridged and we have taken it upon ourselves to bridge this gap — Launchpad Style 😎
NFT Garage will cater as an NFT Launchpad for :
- DeFi Projects who are wanting to increase protocol owned liquidity through NFT offerings.
- GameFi & other innovative projects looking to build on Fantom.
Our Core Ethos 😇
One of the core functions behind NFT Garage is to assist top DeFi Protocols on Fantom adopting and exploring the NFT Space while being able to increase protocol-owned liquidity. Increasing protocol owned liquidity for projects would give projects and their teams the freedom to work on innovative tech that could benefit the users and supporters of that protocol and the ecosystem in general, in the long-term. This would also help protocols maintain price floors in case of any black swan events.
Although getting DeFi projects to explore the NFT Ecosystem is something we intend to achieve, this is not our sole purpose of NFT Garage as we have so much more to offer.
Through our Launchpad, any innovative projects looking to launch on Fantom can make use of our tech, community and partners to create an NFT offering that will keep your communities buzzing for a long time in the future.
In the end, our aim is to build a full fledged launchpad that allows BUIDLers & projects to focus on innovation while we help get the word about your project out for you!
